I've never tried (or even heard of) either of them, but I can say there's no substitute for quality gear. Especially if you're playing music that incorporates a lot of double kick... those pedals get a workout!

A significantly cheap price usually means inferior materials.

I've got the Tama Iron Cobra, and I love it. My advice, for what it's worth: Save up and buy something solid.

Unfortunately quality gear costs money. USED quality gear can be had for much less!

Maybe try this one: http://www.musicstore.de/en_EN/GBP/D...DRU0011072-000

I've got some Fame hardware, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a throne. They all seem solidly built and were dirt cheap. Haven't really put them to the test though. The pedal looks a bit longer than the g4m one, and the support bars look sturdier. On the other hand, it has a dual beater instead of a quad, and the connecting rod only extends in one direction.

Oh and it looks cool!
