On my toms I have Aquarian Studio X with power dot over classic clears. If you like a bit of muffling those sound very good. I also like the power dots because it trains to hit in the middle of the head therefore getting a better sound out of the drum and when you hit in the middle it hides stick marks. Stick marks annoy me a little bit so that is good for me.

All of Aquarians heads are going to be good, but you have to get the heads that are suited to your style of playing.
Roc-N-Soc Nitro.

To drum or not to drum,
That is my question.

I have a Response II on my snare which sounds sick (I used to have the Hi-Energy) and Super-2 Coateds on my Toms which I also love more than my previous Black Suedes. Next stop is to replace my Emad with a Super Kick. Aquarian is definitely my favorite. I've had Remo's and Evans.

Don't get the studio x heads if you are a hard hitter. Performance 2's work best on larger drums 14-18, they offer a more tribal drum sound. I'd look into getting the respose two head or the super 2's.

I use Teaxture Coated Reponce 2's on all my toms, Coated Responce 2's w/ Power Dot on snares and Full Force Bass Drum Heads (Like a Powerstroke 3).

The Responce 2's seem to last me longer than any other head I have ever played, and I am a heavy hitter.

I use Performance II's on the toms, Hi Energy on the snare and Super Kick II on the kick. That's gives me a really weighty sound but still they still sound tuneful, and are versatile if tuned up or down. I love the snare these days, really holds it's tuning. It's basically a big fat rock sound.

Sean Genocky's producing one of my bands at the moment and was absolutely in love with this drum sound a couple of weeks ago.

I've recently been lucky enough to be endorsed by Aquarian, and they're great guys, the really care about their product. Also the Powersleeve sticks are absolutely awesome if you get through as many as me, tough as old boots!
