Default Iron Cobra Footboard extension

Greetings,

I have a size 12 shoe and have been trying to play the heel-toe method on my Iron Cobra Power Glide. I believe it would be easier to play this method if the footboard was longer for me. I already removed the toe guard...it helped a little but not completely.

Are there any footboard extenders for this pedal?

Thanks in advance.

I also have a size 12 foot but I haven't had a problem w/ my pedal not being long enough. It's a matter of technique really - are you using the entire pedal when you play or are you using the "sweet spot", further down the pedal. If you start looking for and using that spot, it matters not how big your foot is.

Not sure exactly where that sweet spot you are referring to is....

where is relation to the word "tama" would that spot be?

Also, is your footboard set low or high?

thanks

I don't know, I don't own an IC pedal. On my DW 5000 it's about 1/3 from the top of the pedal...sometimes closer to the middle, depending on what and how I'm playing. I always play "heel up" but my foot rests flat when I'm not making a stroke.

I don't think my footboard even adjusts? Either way, I don't use the top 1/3 of my pedal at least 99% of the time.
