Default My new Bubinga Kit & Pearl Rack

I just finished setting up my new Pearl rack and ddrums. This kit is a 7pc setup. The toms are 8,10,12,14,16, 7x13 snare and a virgin 20x22 bass drum. Paiste 2002 cymbals, 15 hats, 16,18,20 crashes, 8 splash, 24 ride and a 20 Nova china.

One of the best sounding kits I have ever played.

ddrum gets a bad rap now and then on this forum but I always like the look of their kits. Nice finish and a nice looking setup.

B-E-A-UTIFUL kit! couple questions real quick:

1. what kind of mics are you using?
2. Your rack is a 501 correct? How is that working out with all the extra attachments? (as in, how's the positioning range and stability)

Thanks!

Beatiful kit!

Of course there is nothing else to say but WOW!!!! You always love your own kit, but this is one of the nicest kits I have ever seen. I own a Ddrum 14x7 maple ash burst snare and it sounds very nice, so I can imagine how incredible these have to sound. Again, WOW!! TOO nice!!

The front and both sides are curved. The best working and cleanest looking rack on the market.

That would be the 503C then and I agree to the look and function.

Great looking and sounding kit:) How do you find the hardware on the drums? We got a kit similar to that at the drum shop I work at, and it sounds killer, but I dont think the hardware matches the price, any thoughts?

I purchased this as a shell pack, all may hardware is the top of the line Pearl.
The bass drum claws on the ddrum kit blows so I replaced them with a new set of Maypex Orion claws. They do 2 things, first they have a rubber insert for the edge of the wooden hoop, second if your to look at the claw side ways there 1.5 to 2mm of space between the inside edge of the claw and the hoop. A well thought out claw which will produce no damage to your expensive hoops.
