Default My 7-piece Pearl Vision VBA!!!

Hi there! I'm Nico Florek from Buenos Aires Argentina. I'm 29 and i play drums since i was 10. I play guitar too, and i like writing songs. I have a Hard Rock band that's called "Vecibel King", and we play own songs and some covers.

My favourite genres are Rock, Pop, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Power/Classic Metal, Classical Music, New Age/Ambient. I like Blues and Jazz too. I really like lot of styles.

My Pearl Vision VBA Emerald Fade Eucalyptus:

- 22" Bass Drum
- 8" & 10" & 12" Rack Toms
- 14" & 16" Floor Toms
- 14"x5.5" Pearl Vision Snare (Birch)

But i use this snare:
- 14"x6.5" Pearl Masters MCX Black Sparkle Fade (Maple)

Hardware:

- Pearl 1000 Series Hardware (and some Mapex stands)
- Pearl Clamps
- Gibraltar 9608 round vinyl Throne
- Pearl Powershift Eliminator P2002C (driven by chain)

Others:

- REMO Heads: Factory clear top / Diplomat clear bottom
- VIC Firth sticks (Generally 5A, 5B & 7A)

Cymbals (Showed in picture):

- 20" Zildjian A Custom Medium Ride
- 20" Sabian XS20 Ride
- 18" Zildjian Avedis Medium Thin Crash
- 18" Zildjian A Custom Crash
- 16" Zildjian Avedis China Low
- 16" Sabian AA Medium Thin Crash
- 16" Paiste 302 Crash
- 14" Paiste 502 Hi-hat
- 8" Orion Solo Pro Splash

Next upgrades are 14" Zildjian Avedis New Beat Hi-hat for replacement of that Paiste 502 and a 8" Ziljian A Custom Splash for replacement of the Orion Solo Pro splash.

Perhaps will be a 19" Zildjian A Custom Crash soon. I love A Custom crashes!!!

In the wall you can see a 90's Ibanez RG350, a Jackson Performer Series PS-1 and a Jackson CBX Dave Ellefson Signature.

The room where i'm now was my mother's bedroom, so that's the explanation of the wallpaper with flowers, hehe!!

Hope you like the kit!!

I don't think I ever saw that color before. Nice looking set up you got there, Nico .

This kit is gorgeous! What an amazing color!

How do you like your Master's snare? It's a 14x6.5, right?

I have the same snare in natural maple with 20 strand pure sound wires. It turned it into a completely different drum. I also don't get the buzz that I thought would be there.

Thank you!! Yes, it's a 14x6.5!

I like that snare too much. What about that 20 strand wires?? Is it a good upgrade??

Hi Nico. I always like big sets. Siempre me gustaron los sets grandes. Tremendo set el que tienes. Saludos de Perú!!!

PD: sin que sean malos los 302, pero ese set necesita ya un par de hihats a su altura, jejeje.. un abrazo!!!

Fix the floor toms, Bo; they're not supposed to match.
