It's actually one of the old diablo series. I refinshed them myself, they used to be silver and blue.

How do you like the sound? Are those maple or ash? My kit sounds great and it's made from bass wood.

Mine are basswood as well and sound really nice. Especially after I hard laquered the inside of the shells. Made em brighter and more punchy.

Well, it seems this is turning in to a "Show Your ddrum Thread", the funny thing is, two weeks ago I didn't know much about ddrum, but I'm learning.

I have played Tama all my life.. I still like them and still have 2 sets of Tama's. When I decided that I wanted 14, 16, 18 toms and 26 kick.. I looked to Tama and it was a complete PITA,, It came down to this from Tama.. Wait forever and pay thousands.. I got the Ddrums in the sizes I wanted for $899 and got in 2 weeks instead of several months latetr.. There were issues with the finish because what they advertise on their site wasn't available but I'm happy with what I got.

Well, i found a new, old stock blem 20x18 Ddrum diatribe birch bass drum shell with hoops on ebay for $80 that matched my blood red satin mini-monster and I just couldn't help myself. This was supposed to be my portable gig kit but it got out of control. Unfortunately, the bass drum wasn't virgin and had a tom mount. I just went ahead and took it off.
