Default Unix at Chicago drum show

We had a blast at the Chicago vintage and custom drum show held on ST-Charles last week. We sold many snare and shell there. The public respond was great. We had Will Calhoun try out our kits and Zoro even did half an hour on this kit, let me tell you that we had the focus on our booth for the whole half hour...

I also had the previlege to be 2 days in presence of M. Jeff Ochletree, he loved our drums, and he's the most cool person I ever meet. We also chat with M.Bill Ludwig III.

Here is some shots we took there.

That drums is for sale and we will not refuse any serious offer.

Francois,

What did Zoro and Calhoun say about the kit?

Is that partial image of that sign on kit correct regarding the price? It looks like it says $1500 (USD) for the kit. What are the sizes?

Very nice looking finish, by the way...

Yes it was $1500.00.

Sizes are:
12" x 8" x 3/8"
14" x 14" x 3/8"
16" x 14" x 3/8"
22" x 16" x 3/8"

All Maple shell, with Die cast hoops. Well M. Calhoun was really impress with the Kkick, and M. Zoro jammed 1/2 hours on the kit, I think it says it all...

Hey Frank... In two of those pics there looks to be a 8x14 steel shell snare off to the side, is that a new Unix experiment, or is that one of Mr. Ochletrees creations?

Sweet kit! How did you like playing with those giant drumsticks? There was a metal drummer back in the 80's that actually used giant sticks like that all the time when playing live. He said it was to get as much power as possible for the music. I don't know how the hell he played with those things.
