i got them yesterday, and played for like an hour. i dont get cymbals often.
and spelling zildjian wrong was a typo. |

Hi Comic amusement..
Yes, I kow about zildjian edge..I think they were made in early 90s. I bought mine in 1994, I played a 20 ride and a 10 flash splash. I sold my ride and at this moment I only have the splash. They are intermediate cymbals, not low end, not high end, but in appareance they look raw (I think, looks like Paiste Rudes) and have a sound more suitable for rock. For my taste, crashes were too raw, not enough wash..hi hats are solid and definitive nice sound...as I told you...better for rock, metal styles.. I like my flash splash (It still keeps the purple logo). If help you, I tested it beside a 10 pst5 paiste splash, and the edge sounds better, more attack, better "splash" sound.... Keep it, take care of them.. they are zildjian, and enjoy your hihat.. luck my friend.. |
