Default Pearl Icon Drum Rack

Hey guys! :)

I just wanted to quickly know your opinions on a matter.

I found a Pearl Icon DC301(i think its ment to be 501) rack for sale on ebay, its 15mins drive from me, so collection is no problem. Its $150. it includes 2 boom arms, 4 clamps, 1 clamp+titler and a few other things. Anyway what i was wondering is, is this a good buy? because i was also consider just buying a used Budget boom stand for $70 and a new snare skin, i dont need the skin, but do need the stand. so should i go for rack or stand?

Sorry for drawn-out question and explaination.

Thanks guys! :)

Sounds like a good deal. You cats "down under" seem to get hosed on most prices (being higher). I ran a Pearl DR-100 for over 10 years. The Icon is the improoved version. Keep your regular stands also, you never know when you might still need those, but a rack adds a lot of "versatility" to the mix. Especially is you want to get into "kit expansion".
