Stan,

Very nice kit. The Aqua Blue is a great color.

How thick are the 9-ply maple shells? The Peace site does not give the millimeter thickness of the shells. Are they like Sonor's--i.e., 9 plies and uber thin at 4 or 5 mm?

Thanks Robert.

Doing a quick rough measurement the shell on the snare comes in at about 6.5 mm for the 9 ply maple shell. Check the rest later but think they are the same Robert.

Update.......

Just measured the other drums and they come in at exactly 7mm for being 9 ply maple shells Robert. The snare appears indeed to be a slightly thinner shell at 6.5mm after rechecking.

Here's some pics of the latest addition to the kit. The Peace matching Aqua Marine finish 9 ply maple snare drum including the throw off wy was asking about as well as 2 closeup pics showing the snare beds.
