Default DW 5002 vs. 8002 vs. 9002

looking for a new double pedal, and was searching at the store when i saw the 5002, liked it quite abit. They didnt have the 8002 or 9002 but an actual drum shop, not a music shop, near me does. Im just wondering what are the main differences between them, or if there are any features if i go with a certain one, and also your opinions on them,
thanks B R A D .

8002 despite it's higher number is a step below the 5002, 9002 however is the cadillac of DW pedals check out DW's website it will tell you all you want to know ;-)

im not sure. i think that it goes 9000, 8000, then 5000. the site says taht the 800 is supposed to be a sort of mix between 9000 and 5000. taking bits of each. and when you compare the pedal specs. 8000 comes out on top of 5000

Not to mention the 8002 is more expensive than the 5002.

I've heard a variety of people that have played both the 8002 and 5002 say they like the 5002 better... Something about the feel.

I dunno. Try them all out if you can, but generally speaking the 5002 is great for the money and the 9002 is only outdone by überpedals like Axis, Trick, and the Demon Drive.

You can't take my 5000's away! Haha. It's all about feel, just go try them out and bring your drum key. I was in Guitar Center adjusting pedals to my liking and 5000's seemed to just feel better. The heaviness I guess?

What do you mean by heaviness? Cuz' I'm looking for a new single pedal, and i'm looking for something with a tight, heavy feel (I hate pedals with "light" feeling), but still with very good response and speed (not speed metal, or anything, just blues, grunge, hard rock, pop rock).
