Default Roland VH-11 versus VH-12

Folks, I've tried the VH-11 on the TD12 but have yet to play the VH-12. Has anyone tried both of these and if you have what do you think?

I notice that the acoustic sound generated by the VH-11 is quite high , i.e. I can hear it over and above the headphones, and wondered whether the VH-12 was a bit quieter. Also, which gives the better feel. I'm not necessarily comparing with an acoustic kit but I have to move from one to the other and so that's quite relevant too.

Cheers
Davo

Default Re: Roland VH-11 versus VH-12

Since there's no reply I'll answer this myself.

I have no tried both, and found them very similar in use. Subsequently, I may actually slightly prefer the VH-11. Either way it is difficult to justify an additional 200 on the VH-1.

Peace
