Default Snare Comparison: Ocheltree and Sonor...

I originally put this in the wrong section i think....

I just recorded samples of all of my different drums.

The Gear:

DW Collectors (Black wrap with black hardware) 8x10, 10x13,14x16, 16x18, 18x24
Cymbals: Paiste Signature
14" Heavy top/Sound Edge bottom
18" Power Crash
21" Dry Heavy Ride
20" Power Crash

Mic Setup:
KSM27 around 4 feet infront of the kit around 4 feet off the ground
Beta 56 on Snare



Top to Bottom; Left to Right
2000 Paiste/Ocheltree Spirit of 2002 Prototype #1 5x14 (Coated Amb over Amb hazy)
2007 Ocheltree Phantom Steel 6.5x14 (Raw Steel with chrome hardware) (Evans Power Center over Evans Hazy 300)
2009 Ocheltree Phantom Steel 6.5x14 (Raw Steel with Blackened lugs and Acid Black Hoops) (Evans Reverse Dot over Hazy 300)
1989 Sonor HLD 590 (Remo CS Dot over Amb hazy)
2008 Ocheltree TreeBronze 8x14 #1 (Antique Patina finish with Patina Lugs and Oil Hoops) (Evans Reverse Dot over Hazy 300)

Snares sound goood, but I agree with Eddiehimself, you should downsize those pics so we can actually see them.
