Default Pedal Questions/Advice for all!

Hi chaps,

Two bits of advice I'm looking for:

Firstly, played my first double pedal recently and quite enjoyed the attempt even though I have never or never want to play metal music. But thought how much it must improve you hi-hat foot (something I'm always looking to do). So what do people recommend as a decent yet cheap double pedal that also can be used a single pedal (want it as a back-up for my main pedal in case of an accident plus to play cowbell etc with my left foot)? I was thinking like a Pearl P120P...

The second question is for all my search I cant seem to find a single braced two-legged hi-hat stand. No-ones makes them! I know they may not be the most stable but I hate double braced mainly cause of my back. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Well, long term as possible really. used to have a P120 before i upgraded and was a true work-horse.

Can't say I've ever seen a single braced two legged stand.
