Default Aluminium cymbal stands.

Does anyone know where aluminium cymbal stands can be purchased.
Because of a bad back I need to lighten the weight in my roadcase. I have heard of aluminium stands but at this stage have not seen them.
If anyone can help out I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you.
( I live in Melbourne Australia.)

I don't know of any anyone that makes aluminum cymbal stands, but there is a company call Drum Workshop that makes very lightweight steel stands:

I know Sonar once tried to make Aluminium stands, but they didn't sell so well. I have no idea if anyone makes them anymore.

The problem with the one's I've seen are they are too light, and the boom stands tend to fall over just from regular playing.

I don't understand hardware makers don't offer stands with regular steel tripods, but aluminum top sections.
