Default Need help picking a new high hat

Has anyone had any experience with Tama high hats, specifically the road pro series or the stage pro series. I have an opportunity to buy either one and wanted to know if they were any good and which one is the more heavy duty etc...

The roadpro hi-hat stand is really good, it can take a beating.

I'd say roadpro. What's the difference btwn the iron cobra and the roadpro? Just the price and that the one has two legs while the other has three?

Just purchased a Tama HH 75 roadpro off E-bay, brand new in the box for $58. Think I got a good deal. Gotta be better than the junk I'm using now.

I have several hats ranging from a Yamaha 800 series to a $39 Pulse. You would not believe how solid that $39 hat is. Not a lot of difference between it and my Yammie. Built like a tank, adjustable legs/tension all for 39 bucks. If money is tight & you need a good hat, don't overlook the Pulse.

Peace
