Default Shure Beta 91

Hi,

Sorry if this is a repeat post. I searched a bit!

Any of you have experience using this mic? I imagine for the price $219.00 it should be a pretty good mic, also I like the idea of just sitting it on a pad inside the drum.

If you have any hands on that you can provde me it would be appreciated.

It appears as though it will fit through the sound hole no problem!

Thanks,

Default Re: Shure Beta 91

Before buying my Beta 52 I rented one a few times. Good Mic, good sound no major problems to speak of. The only drawbacks I found were it sounded the same regardless of placement so if your picky moving it around makes little difference.

The other point was finding a way to keep the cable off the reso head. That cable does changes the sound so we were lucky on and older Tama kit that had big adjustable lugs we could drape the cable from above but on another kit I ended up using a stand.
