Default Aquarian Kick Pad

I was looking at the Aquarian kick pad and was wondering what are the benefits. If you use them do you use the regular kind or the super-thin? What are the differences between the regular and the super-thin?

I love the Aquarian kick pads. Very durable, round sound, and not as clicky as the remo ones. On a superkick 2 I actually prefer the sound with the pad on there as opposed to the bare head. I find the pad actually adds low end to those heads. Don't try these on coated heads though, because when I put one on a remo coated head, I couldn't keep the pad stuck to the head and it would fall off when I was playing. Haven't tried the thin one yet.
