Default Ddrum Ash Dorian Istanbul Mehmet Diril

Hello fellow forum members!
Fairly new to this site so I guess that showing of my kit would be a good start.

All the shells are from Ddrum's Ash Dorian Series wich sound amazing for the low price.

Specs:
7" x 14" Snare
8" x 13" Tom
14" x 14" Floor Tom
14" x 16" Floor Tom
20" x 24" Bass Drum

The cymbal setup is:

Istanbul Mehmet
14" Istanbul mehmet Samatya Hi-Hats
16"Istanbul mehmet Samatya Crash
20" Istanbul mehmet Samatya Ride

Diril
8" Splash Custom
18" Crash Custom

The tom heads is from Remo's emperor series, the snare has an ambassador head and the bassdrum head is still stock.

Cowbell: No Idea what company it comes from
Tambourine: Pearl
Hardware: Sonor and Fame

Welcome to the forum my friend. I absolutely love the finish on your drum kit, it looks really good. How do you like the snare? I have a 13" x 7" DDrum dominion snare tuned very tightly and it sounds absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely love the snare.
Got a drum dial two days ago, tuned the drums and were stunned by the sound.
Really popping.

Ahhh great stuff. Glad you like your snare. Thats funny you should say that as I got a drum dial yesterday! Just out of interest what do you tune your drums to?

I use 80 for the Reso's and Batters of the toms, and 90 for the snare :-)

Cheers

Looks SWEET! Welcome to the forum. I've been here for a while since the ddrum forum got shut down. Everyone here is really cool. I love the Dorian so much. I've had mine for about 18 mo. and I could never be happier. You are right, it's amazing what you get for the price.
