Default New bass drumhead

So, my aquarian superkick II had gotten a whole in the first ply, and I'd been playing through it for awhile and finally decided I'd gather up the money and get new heads. So I went a new root and got a coated powerstroke 3 and a ebony ambassador for my resonant unported. So I got home, put the heads on, resonant side much tighter than usual, and batter a little tighter than usual. Wah lah! My bass sounds powerful. Like a monster. Just putting this out there for anybody wanting new heads, discuss. By the way, its a 22x18 Pearl Export bass drum.

Recommend you get a patch, no need to wear holes in $50 heads.

Congrats on the new head and glad they sound great! Like dad said above get a patch on that batter head to protect it ;-)

No worrys, the powerstroke came with a falam slap patch so I'm covered there. And besides the durabilty it gives, I find it gives more focus to the sound instead of sounding more like a tom does.
