Default Daniel Erlandsson

I did not find a threah on him when I did a search on him on the site, but he deserves one. I think he is an awsome drummer. I love his style and tecnique and he is always on time. He plays in a band called Arch Enemy and is the brother of Adrian Erlandsson from Cradle of Filth ( for the ones who did not know)...

So let me hear what you think???

Adrian has quit Cradle Of Filth a few months ago:
- 4 short ones with Adrian

Daniel is a great drummer he plays perfectly for the band's music. I love the Arch Enemy's live Dvd "Live Apocalypse." Here is a little interview from 2005 if you are interested:

What heads does Daniel use live? I think Evans but I can't find the exact heads he uses, anyone know?

Cheers
Dan

On the Dvd they are Remos on his Pearl carbon fiber/maple drums. He uses Powerstroke 3 on the snare but I can't remember what he uses on toms and kicks.

It's not about deserving a page or not, it's about Bernhard having enough info, photos and time to create a page. Just imagine how much time was put into all the drummer's pages you can view on the website.

It's that I sent a p.m. to Bernhard some time ago about creating a Chris McHugh page, the message was read but no answer were sent back to me.

This means to me that, maybe, Bernhard isn't that interested in putting a page in honor to one of the most recorded country drummer ever...
Here and here enough info can be found.

I really don't think this thread is the place for this discussion.

Back to topic, does anyone know exactly what heads Daniel uses please?

Thanks
Dan

I second the question on heads, I would love to get my kick sounding like his.

Daniel did use Remos for awhile. He used PS 3 and Pinstripe Ebonys on his kicks, and a coated Ponstripes on his snare. As for which evans he uses, i'm fairly certain he uses EMADs. But if you're are looking to get your kicks like his, tune your kicks low, and get some triggers.

Does anyone have any idea what ride cymbal Daniel used on the Anthems of Rebellion recording? I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me that.
