Counting like that is triplets. To swing 8th notes you need to skip the &. Play 1 uh2 uh3 uh4 uh1.

Do a youtube search for 'blues'. You'll get lots of stuff. Have a look at Walter Trout and the Radicals, one of my favourites.

So many to choose from,
I know the blues purists will shoot me for this but.... Go grab some Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chris Layton is a great drummer and he cover all the blues styles very well. |
