Default Headphones?

Hey...

I'm having a problem at the minute. I normally play along to songs while playing. I usally just use my i-pod, the only thing is I can barley hear anything, and I keep going out of time. So its bit of a problem.

Can anyone give me advice on good ear-phones that I could hook up to an i-pod or cd player, that is loud enough for me to hear the music, and has protection from the sound of the drums on my ears?

Cheers

Default Re: Headphones?

Over the ear headphones are the only way to go. Believe it or not, I got a set of bose triport (about $145) and they are well worth it.

They have better low end and cleaner bass than anything under $300 a pair. I know this because I have owned $450 grado rs-1's and others. They also drop outside noise levels so you can play without getting overpowered by the kit.

I use them with my ipod/creative xfi.
