Default how to make hoops flat and straight?

ah is such a pain in the eye to. tune the drum kit...
i found out how bad the hoop f..ck up the tuning when they are bended...

my question is... how should i make it flat again???
... is there any machine for that... as for example with bicycle wheels.. when they bend like that... they get this special machine and make it flat again...
i dont know... will help me alot to tune if i get them flat again...
any technique ?? machine??? or whatever

I'm assuming it's a triple flanged metal hoop? If it's diecast or wood you're out of luck.

If it is triple flanged, You can flatten out the hoop by finding the high spot and on a table (with a towel underneath the hoop so you don't damage the table), hang part of the hoop past the edge of the table and gently push down. Repeat the process checking for where the high spots are until the hoop is flat again.
