Default what style of music is this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpSZN1aRBSs

this is some superb music by richard bona.. it sounds latin, caribbean to me.. salsa, maybe? I don't know, I struggle defining songs by genre, and I wanted to play something like this with our jazz band, and wanted to know how to explain to our conductor what it is I wanted to play, apart from showing him the song. percussion on this is pretty amazing too.
