Yeah it happens ...

One of the drummers I work with (when I'm on bass) has a complete 4 piece Camco kit he paid $75.00 for. He was doing an odd job for a guy helping him clean out an attic and found the kit stacked in a corner, sold it to him for $75.00.

You can use the wash cycle as a metronome. Nice slow groove.

My drums are kept in a room that is next to my laundry room.
I frequently am doing my laundry while I am playing the drums.
I often play grooves to the rhythm of the washer and dryer as they are doing their thing.

The wife's not a big fan ;)

This PDP CX series kit is from around 2003. It's been well looked after, but it does suffer from some bearing edge issues, as most do from that era. Not detramental to the sound though.

I've been playing 4pc kits for 20yrs now. I love 'em!

Pacific Platinum in White Oyster
9x12, 12x14, 16x20

DW Collectors Series
8x14 in Tobacco Satin finish with Maple Hoops. I had DW specifically make one 8" deep for me so it would have two rows of lugs, instead on one row in the center with absurdly long tension rods.

Zildjian 14" New Beat's
Zildjian 20" K Custom Dark Ride (used as left crash)
Paiste 22" Prototype Ride (pre-aged and with 3 rivet cluster)
Zildjian 20" K Ride (used as right crash)

Tropellor, what the heck is that suitcase bass in the last picture???
Here's my kit. I generally play it as a 5-piece with two floor toms, but I experiment with different setups pretty commonly.
