Default Roadrunner and Kaces

I had a gig and I brought for the first time my 46 inch Kaces hardware bag and it sure beats the hard plastic one I bought from my drum teacher.

First of all I enjoy using Musician Friend. They're prompt and have excellent customer service. The music stores usually have willy nilly people in them if you know what I mean. And that brings me to sales help which is another topic entirely. Anyhow I bought the 46 inch kaces bag and putting my gear in it was a lot easier. It's amazing how heavy these bags can get with 2 boom stands, a ride stand, a hi-hat stand, bass drum pedal, throne stand, Floor tom legs, and tom arms. And it has wheels which is a great, great neccessity. I bought a 5 piece road runner drum bag set and those bags are probably as good or better than beato. My drums slide in them like a knife going through a just out of the oven cake.

They made my gig experience much better. Thanks Musican Friend.

nice!

I also like Musician's Friend. Shopping online/in a catalog is a lot less stressful than going to a music store and having a salesperson hover over you the whole time.

I just got my new Gretsch Catalina Club Mod kit there for a really low price. (Originally $699.99, got it for $449.99 WHAT?!)

Actually, I get most of my stuff from them, except for cymbals (since all cymbals are slightIy different, even if it's the same model, I want to try the exact cymbal I'm going to get before I drop hundreds of dollars on it) and small things like sticks and heads.

I mean, most of the time when I go to a store, I know exactly what I want. I don't need help! just let me try out the cymbals I want, pick the ones I like, pay for them, and leave! I don't want your opinion salespeople! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!! lol

if you can't tell, I'm in the middle of shopping for some new Sabians at my local music store...

not a huge selection + high prices + hovering sales people + only music store that sells Sabians around here = argh
