I own the Gibralter bass drum pad.
(why) 1. It was available at time of purchase.
2. It's big enough for double pedals.
3. Price was about $50. if i can remember correctly.

Good luck, whatever you decide to go with.

Roland KD-7 trigger. I got it at a good price; it has a pretty good feel and I'm not a double-kick guy... plus it can be used with a brain as a trigger or plug into the RMP-5 for small kit practice. It's just compact and a lot of bang for the buck.

I've got that one. Very nice and solidly built and very quiet. Instead of using a harder rubber, it has a kind of foam. There's a little assembly required, but very simple to do and it comes with velcro strips on the bottom to help grip the floor.

I once used one of these and I wasn't to impressed with it as the beaters got the surface too hot it started melting, much like my ex-wife when she was doused with hot water after cornering tht little girl and her dog
