Default My Gretsch though the ages...

Just thought I'd make a thread with all the different setups I've had, since they're back home in boxes right now, I can't really have any updates...

Here's everything I brought with me to Univ, Just my hand percussion, and some cymbals for a couple gigs I did.

hahaha, I dunno, I just thought it looked funny.

The snare is a 14x6.5 walnut/birdseye maple stave shell I got off eBay from a cat by the name of 'swandrums" it's really unique cause It has free floating omnitune lugs.

I think the guy said that he's a professional woodworker who just makes snares on the side for fun and sells them on eBay, I got this beaut for $200!!!

I love the sound, very dark, crisp, with a good full tone and it's very sensitive!

Man, your room is A LOT like mine... A big mess with the drums in the middle LOL Sometimes I think about moving the bed from the room for more drum space but then I remember that I have to sleep...
Great drums by the way! I really dig these setups you put together for recording, a lot of different sounds... Oh, and I noticed the Sheik Yerbuti on the wall, Zappa fan too?
