Default drum heads

just got a new pork pie snare with not a very good head!!!!
What are some really nice heads u would reccomend?????

Try a Remo Coated Ambassador for the batter head. You can't go wrong.

A coated Amb will sound good on most any snare--a great place to start. If it's not the sound you want, then you can experiment.

Coated Emperor for a drier sound if that's what you prefer.
