Seriously? Oh well, it's still on sale for $200 this month, rather than $250.

A few weeks before 5 december, you can put a wish list in your shoe, and than Sinterklaas puts in your shoe what's on your list. I made a list with Paiste Alpha 18" crash, 16" china and a Pearl Effects 10" snaredrum. The next day I found a letter:

Dear Bram,

I'm not giving you anything, because you didn't put a beet in your shoe to feed my horse.

Sinterklaas.

So I think I'm not getting anything more this year. :(

I would really like a 20" Paiste 2002 China and a 20" 2002 Novo China. I know for sure that ain't going to happen, with the financial crisis and all, but you can always hope!

If you've seen my posts, I have lots of great gear for my drums. There's a new snare I want, but to be honest, I just split up with my girlfriend, and I'd really prefer Scarlett. The thread is 'show us your christmas wish list.' That's my wish list!

New overheads/in fronts. One can hope. I use SM81s right now and I am not unhappy, but being a gear whore has no limits.

Since acquiring a Meinl Byzance 18" Vintage Crash recently, I really have been finding myself drawn to quicker, trashy cymbals.

As such, I'd love to add:

Meinl Byzance Dark crashes 16/18"
Meinl Byzance Traditional Extra Thin Hammered crash 20"

Most likely what I will get:
A set of Evans EC2 clear for my toms
Some pairs of Vic Firth X5A (5A Extreme)

What I want, but know I won't get:
Tama Speed Cobra hihat-stand
A new throne
A new, better and bigger mixer than I have (Behringer X1832)
Zoom Q4 recorder

My wish list, some of which you have to imagine. None of which seems likely for this Christmas.

1. An appreciation and understanding for Jazz. I still think most of it is annoying.
2. The ability to play to jazz. I am in awe of jazz drummers.
3. See Below, a set of Zildjian Kerope cymbals to play "my" Jazz. Once I heard the sound files... I was smitten!
