Default Moving in...sorta...new studio

We had this shed that my parents decided to give me to use as a recording studio. It is a high school students wet dream I know! After several months of work I moved in. There is still a lot of work to be done but here are some work in progress pictures...

Sweet. Enough room for a band. Remember, Rome was not built in a day. You'll get there.

Dude what you need now is some mics and soundproofing and you'll be pretty much there.

Where do you live and is the climate going to cause problems for your drums. Hot, Cold,
condensation?? Can you put some insulation between those studs. Looks like a great place to hide and play.

I live in kansas and well one day its 30degrees outside and the next it is 80 you never know what your going to get.

Insulation is coming soon. I still have a few things I have to seal on the wall before it can go up.

I will get some pictures of my recording set up today after school.

I use a tascam 788, and then do editing and such with cooledit pro on my computer.

I have 3 ok mics but only two mic cables and stands but more are to come

Soundproofing is not important because my closest neighbors are about half a mile away...I got to get some pictures of my view today or something.

You still might want some to control stuff like resonance and echoes, which will result in better recording.
