Iron Cobra http://www.guitarcenter.com/Tama-Iro...22-i1427786.gc DW 7000 http://www.guitarcenter.com/DW-7002P...66-i1137449.gc My question would be to you guys is it more practical that I go for the Iron Cobra right off the bat given everything that comes with it or should I go for the 7000 to start me off? Would it cost the same to buy a case offered in the Iron Cobra package seperate making the DW 7000 not worth it? All this and any experience with these pedals would be nice as well would be appreciated.

I would go with the Iron Cobra.
I think the other beaters can be essential if you play metal, or hard rock. And I just trust Iron Cobra. |

The IC is a better choice than the 7000. The 9000 or maybe 8000 are more direct competation to the IC.

I would agree with the Iron Cobra being the better of the two pedals; but personally, given the choice, I chose the Pearl eliminator. :)
Not checking them out and seeing which one you like with your feet is a bit of putting the cart before the horse.

I have both pedals and they are great.

I have tested out the DW 7000 and find it to be rather good for me right foot so I imagine it'll be quite good for my left foot when I get going. I've been thinking I'll probably go with the DW as well at least to try out double bass because I wouldn't be loosing as much money if I bought it and ended up sucking at it. Thanks for the help and I'm glad to here its a good pedal razorx, hopefully I'll upgrade to the Iron Cobra or something of its calibre over time.
