Default Alesis DM5 Pro - Mesh Heads?

Does anyone know if you can easily swap the heads on the Alesis DM5 Pro E-Kit for mesh heads to make it quieter? Is it simply a case of taking the stock 'real feel' (plastic) heads off and popping some mesh ones on, and will any mesh head do?

Default Re: Alesis DM5 Pro - Mesh Heads?

Anyone?

I recommended the DM5 Pro to someone as a cheap e-kit (I don't have one) and I told them it would be easy to swap the heads to mesh to make it near silent?
