Default I need bass drum claws WITH gaskets

I need to order 20 bd claws, preferably die-cast chrome, with matching rubber gaskets. I'd like to order them today...right NOW. :) They have to have some sort of padding or rubber gaskets (I don't want to try and make my own). I don't want to "stain" or damage my nice, custom, hand-made bubinga hoops.

I'm using the Pearl Masters claws off of my Pearl kit, those would be fine if there were somewhere I could find those, as long as the price wasn't outrageous. Otherwise, any brand (named or not) would work.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Here is my list

I made my own gaskets for DW kit I restored. After I have all of the hardware re-powder coated. I used sticky back felt I got at a craft store, It was very easy. I took a piece of paper and folded it into the law and traced the claw. I cut it out and fine tuned.

Then I took that pattern and traced it onto a piece of thin cardboard. I used that and a pen to draw the pattern on the paper back of the felt.

It really was all done in under an hour.

Wow! Thanks guys...just browsing now. I tried amdrumparts first and while the price is good, putting me at about $50 total, no gaskets.

Sweet Morning Breeze! $5.60/ea. for the Pearl claws! *faint*

Alright...you twisted my arm. I can save a buttload of money this way so I'll just quit being lazy and do it.

Thanks man!

Glad I could help.

Just take your time and it will be as good as anything you would pay big buck for.

I will be doing it on 4 bass drums, do the math on that

I have velcroed each claw to the hoop on my set. I have cut each piece of velcro so you can't see it. That way, when I remove the head, all the claws remain attached to the hoop. I also like very loose bass drum heads and the velcro eliminates and possible rattling or buzzing between the claw and hoop. The claws cannot scratch the hoops, although I'd have to use Goof-Off or something to remove the glue if I ever wanted to remove the velcro.

How come no one makes a flanged bass drum hoop with holes for the tuning bolts - basically, a large triple-flanged hoop? Why do bass drums still have the archaic claw-type tuning?

Yeah. Frank will eventually send me some but I would like to sell my Pearl kit now and I don't want to use the "loaners" he gave me with the kit. I can sell the loaners and keep his as a backup set...or vice versa.
