Default Remo Falam Slam Vs. Evans Eq Patch- Which Is Better?

your probablly thinking why am i writin this but i was wondering what is a better patch to give me more punch and durability on my single ply dw remo head because i got a pearl p120p single pedal and i want to start using the plastic beater side but i dont dont want to bust my head. Which is better? falam slam or evans eq clear patch?

falam slam its kevlar rather than clear plastic so more punch and more durabilty by a mile.

Evans has the AF patch (Aramid Fiber is Kevlar) which is a little thinner than the Falam Slam. The Remo is a bigger diameter, the Evans smaller. Each company claims their size and thickness has the advantage. I've used both and am very happy with the Evans patch.

i've used both, and there's not really a noticable difference in sound, but the FALAMs seem to last a bit longer for me...and i use wood beaters...
