Default my band and scouting for girls

SWARM are opening for Scouting For Girls this sunday and kicking of the tuborg festival in high wickham. exciting. i bought a 20" bass drum and have given it a paint job to comemorate the event.

You know I read the title of this thread and my first thoughts were didn't he get married recently - and didn't I recently read a thread about him being a father soon? And now he's gonna tell us about how he scouts for girls with his band!!

Congratulations on getting on the opening act/support thing. It can lead to great places!

it was a great day. very cool atmosphere and SFG are nice guys. also there were lettuceheads who are a fantastic cover band.

more pics when the other camera gets emptied but here are a few (bass drum later)

Looks like a good paint job to the Yamaha. Probably a better "boom" than the old Pearl kick, eh?

it sounds amazing. because it is bigger i can tune the batter tighter and still get bottom end sothe playability is better. i'm still keeping the old 18" for smaller gigs. could also use it as a second bass drum in a double bass kit.
