Default Best heads to have on a miced (2001) pearl export

I am up in the air about what heads I should throw on my kit to give me a nice controlled, open sound with a mid/deep pitch. Any suggestions?

I always hear about the "best" heads to have on a kit, but are they also the best to use in the studio...

Remo pinstripes always seem like a good choice for Exports.
