Default My Gretsch

Decided today was a good day to post some pics of my kit.

Drums: Autumn Burst Grestch Renown
22x18 bass
10x8 tom
12x9 tom (not shown)
14x14 tom
14x5 snare
12x5 Pearl Firecraker

Cymbals: all Zildjian
13" quick beat hihats
16" A custom crash

Fantastic, how do you like the sound? Right now, the only thing stopping me from buying this is the mounting system.

i love the sound, so much tone. i found the mounting system is actually quiet nice, very solid.

Nice rig - I like how you have a crash front-and-center instead of off to the right of the ride. I thought about moving mine there for more comfort.

Lovely. Saw Mark Shulman on a set of Renowns recently and they sounded great.

Those Renowns are favourable drums. My teacher is impressed by his one. How have you tuned the toms? And the snare?

right now i have aquarian response 2 clear and they are tuned kinda low. for the snare i have a studio-x tuned kinda high. sounds huge. i dont use any muffling except for a tiny sheet in the bass drum.
