Default EMAD2 on 24" Mapex Saturn

Well I broke my bass drum head the other day, so there where only 2 heads in stock for my size of bass drum so I went with the EMAD2. I've got to say I couldn't be happier. That thing is real punchy now with a nice clean sound. Definately the rock sound I was looking for.

EMAD2 is great, but the EMAD single ply is better. It has more bottom end and 'oomph'. I was planning on buying the EMAD2 when I accidentally bought the EMAD, and I'm glad I did.

If you ever need to replace your head again check out the single ply version.

Cool, I'll check that out next time. Mainly the reason I got the EMAD 2 was because it was one of 2 options, and the other option was kind of a generic low end head.
