Default Yamaha MCA in Habenero Sparkle

I've had my eye on this kit for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. 22 kick. 10,12,16 toms. I've long been a Gretsch guy (still have my New Classics) but there are so many things I love about Yamaha I just had to have it. Dont' know how that 2nd pic got there...cheers!

Love the Mushashi snare. Nice crack with plenty of depth.

You chose wisely,Go in peace.
Yamaha's absolute series are really well engineered, and contrary to some posts on this forum,I found the nouveau lugs to be a welcome addition. i preferred the Remo clear Emperor's on my Birch kit
Looks Great,

What a finish! Looks great. So who would in a fight, the yammies or the gretsch?

Great looking stuff. I find myself liking sparkle finishes more and more everyday and the Habenero sparkle is yet another reason why. More pictures and cymbal specs.

Thanks for the comments. The cymbals I use for this kit are a 12" China, 14" mastersound hi hats, 8 A splash, 17 A custom projection crash, 18 A custom projection crash, 20" K custom ride, 18 China. Usually use the 13" Mushachi Oak snare but also have a 13" Black Panther walnut, 14" Gretsch Renown maple, 14" Gretsch nickel plated.

That has to be the absolute crappiest, ugly kit I have ever seen. Nothing is good about it.

Next time you won't post LITE beer for cryin' out loud...LITE beer!! A Yammie owner would upgrade to MGD at least!!

Peace

P.S. Just kidding of course (except the lite beer ;) That kit is the BOMB!
