Definitely squeeze those toms together and your fills will be much smoother and you won't have to move your body so much to play. It becomes very tiring. I'm sure you are use to it now but you will be a lot happier down the road. The toms will be closer to you and to each other. Your snare should be between your legs. Your left leg has to be in the way of playing your snare when on the double bass pedal. Work on it and check out some other photos on this site. You will be happier. The colors do look good together. Baltimore Ravens purple and black.

Nice kit. My friend got a pearl vision but then the shell cracked and he sent it back and i never even saw it. That was like 4 months ago and he's still playing on his crappy old kit.

Setups are a very personal thing and are different for everybody, but trust me, you will thank yourself once you move those drums closer to each other. It's also much more comfortable if you put the snare stand closer to you than the double pedal link rather than on the other side of it.

Nice drums. I didn't know they offered the vision's with black hardware. They've got some really great features for drums in that price range. Cool to see that you replaced the stock heads, too. If that kit has any major downfalls it's probably the factory installed heads.

Man! You're gonna get this a LOT! Like it was mentioned before, setups are personal, but this set up seems awkward. I hope it works for you, but there seems to be no ecomony of motion. Every move seems to take more effort than necessary.

The colors are awesome, esp the black hardware. The heads are great, too. Should offer a long time of great sound.

As for the toms...two images came to mind Brandy and hammerhead...

I shall explain...

I've never actually typed "LOL" because I rarely ever do. That cracked me up! Thanks for the good chuckle...

Nice kit! i agree with most about the tom angles, i wouldnt be comfortable there, but the kit is really nice. the finish is great, and ive always loved black rims, lugs and hardware, it really works well on this finish
