Default snares....new pork pie!!!

just go a new pork pie 7x13" patina brass snare....sounds amazing.
my other snares are...

7x13 porky
5.5x14 acrolite
7x13 dominion ash
6x10 tama side snare
4x14 keller maple custom...

i also pictured all my kits......
old luddies
gretsch renown maple
ddrum dominion ash

Patina never looked so good. I think you've got a more than respectable collection of snares (and drums) going there. Yeah! Sweet.

That brass patina kit looks brilliant. Is it literaly patina as you would find on cymbals?

its a brass shell which seems to be faux painted to look rusty...but maybe its not, .....no clue

I went out and bought one of these tonight at Guitar Center, since my Supra turned out to be a bad eBay deal.

The girl there was raving about it as I was trying out other snares...so I had her get it down and I get it a spin. WOW! It's got more crack than Roseanne after Christmas vacation.

I'm going to go hit it for a couple of hours and decide if I want to keep it or trade it in for a 14". So far I haven't been able to get happy w/ a tuning w/ it...but it's "good enough" to practice on tonight.

NICE! Love the snare and all the kits.. That Gretsch has style, if I may say so... looks like a brilliant gig set. Nice cymbals, also.
