Nice!! I like the new gear. How does the PDP snare sound? What head are you using on your main snare? Sorry, but there is absolutely no reason to be using that much moongel. Try tuning your snare without using any muffling at first and then add necessary muffling.

I'm using an Evans G2 on my main snare. As for the moon gels I agree but I am too lazy to try and tune it correctly. I love the PDP snare, it has an amazing *POP* that's perfect for dynamic playing. Now all I need to do is learn to play dynamically.

Great kit and cymbals. But I agree about the moon gels haha. What kind of music do you play?

Funny! Just last week I saw one of these at my local drum shop. I had never seen them before. The shop owner had a lot of really good things to say about them. And I really dig the sizes, too.
How long have you had these? |

I fixed the Moongel problem.
Tiffanyl- I play rock and funk mostly, sometimes metal. I've been shying away from the double kick lately though. Burn the Hero, I've had these drums for a little more than a month. I love them. |

Yeah we just launched these drums two weeks ago in the U.S. They're part of a contest that will send one lucky winner to Hollywood to play in front of A&R execs at Westlake Studios. We're really excited to be on the Drummerworld forum. If anyone has any questions about the set, us or the contest, please feel free to drop a line.
