Default Looking for some influence...

anybody good any good 90's bands they can tell me about...maybe ive never heard of them

me and my band trying to go for that 90's feel

that sound from bands like

dave matthews band
green day(old stuff)
smoking popes
r.e.m.
radiohead
red hot chili peppers(then and now)
etc. etc.

any underground bands or bands that were just in the 90's

just heard of jawbreaker

The band 311 if you've never heard of them. They actually have a good amount of variety. The drummer sounds really nice, the snare is excellent. They have some pretty groovy grooves in some of their songs, and a lot of shuffles.

You can't forget some Sublime and Incubus to go with that 311 :D

LIFE OF AGONY! Great early grunge/rock. River Runs Red, Bad Seed, Lost At 22.... allll classics. I could send you a few if youd like, unless you use limewire...

Oh yeah!! Now I always thought the singer was a chick, don't know why. I found out recently it was a guy. I couldn't believe it! I'm telling you, that's a girl singing on empire records!

Oh, and with this post I gain my platinum member status. Awww yeah. Check out presidents of the united states of america, they were a band that played music in the 90s.

Type-O is aother great one yeah. Did Sal play for them? Also- Primus, early Incubus, Jane's Addiction, Days of the New... the list is endless. A great decade of music for me. Oh and Soungarden!
