Default Need music!

Hey guys-

I'm going on a 5 hour bus ride to New York followed by a 16 hour flight to China. I've got a $15 iTunes gift certificate a-burnin' a hole in my pocket and I need something good to spend it on.

Suggestions?

One of Bob Dylans later one, its a few years old, called ?? 'thefts and thieves' or something like that...? try and find it. Great drumming and songs, good traveling music for sure. I am bad with titles.

David Torn (and others) - Prezens
A great album, and a deep one, so multiple listens will reward you. It's a little odd at first, but by now I love it.

Just thinking of stuff I'd like to listen to when traveling - kind of road trip, soundtrack albums - I'd suggest the following:

- Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Baby '81 (the most recent album by a very cool band)

- The Gutter Twins - Saturnalia (Mark Lanegan of the Screaming Trees and the bloke from Afghan Wigs)

- Midlake - The Trials of Van Occupanther (story-telling folk rock with a retro 70's feel)

- Wolfmother - Wolfmother (unpretentious Aussie rock with hints of Lez Zep and Black Sabbath)

Music is so subjective though. But these would make good travel companions for me.
