Default Really old Pearl set

Here are some pics of my old Pearl set. They were (I sold them a while back) unusual because of the lugs and the sizes. The whole kit was 6 lug, including the snare; the toms were 12 and 14. It may have been a kid's set originally, but they were a pretty cool bebop set, and had a very vintage sound, especially with the heavy hydraulic head on the snare. The bass pedal was a Pearl copy of an old Rogers Swiv-O-Matic design. Worked well too!

I have seen a bunch of old Pearl snares, and I still have one I use with my purple Slingerlands which are listed below, but this is one of the oldest Pearl sets I have seen. I was kind of sad to see it go.

Thats a really cool set. Never seen one like it. How much did you sell it for? How did it sound compared to sets now? Do you know what year the model is? Also, would you consider it lower, mid, or a high end set of drums?

That tom bracket is very similar to the old Ludwig.
How did they sound?
