Pearl actually makes the Vinnie Paul Signature snare if you were looking into a new drum all together.

14 by 8 Maple snare is his signature. How many plies I don't know offhand; but I believe it's quite a lot. Probably a rather heavy head tuned medium-low, something like an Evans ST Dry or at least a two-ply head with a single-ply resonant head. If you're looking for a custom build, 14 by 8 maple is the way to go. 45 degree bearing edges and thicker ply construction.

Vinnie Paul is endorced by Pearl but on Vurgar he used REMO I believe, and the 8" x 14" dim's. sound correct.I know it's. not what you're looking for but hopefully it helps out a little.
