Default acoustic foam

what would the best way to get better acoustic qualities in mij practice room? it's a small basement room (6mx3.3mx2.2m). keep in mind that I don't want to isolate it, as the noise is no problem in my situation. I don't want to spend a lot of money... and so I was thinking about covering 1 wall and parts of the ceiling with isolation foam (4cm) and 2 others walls with curtains. good idea? and what about basstraps?
