Default cymbals

looking to buys some new cymbals, any suggestions? i've got a job and i'm saving up, i'd like to say money is no object, but unfortunately i'm just a kid and can only make so much. should i go with a pack or buy individually?

Personally, I don't buy anything but Zildjian. I use all "A Series" except for my China which is a "A Custom". There are other manufacturers, but all in all you can't go wrong.

Look on their Website to see the differences e.g. cast versus sheet, and within each they explain everything.

A pack will save you many dollars. The only issue is that you cannot mix and match. So if you are looking for a particular set-up, you will have to go individual. This will cost you at least $1300 to get started.

The A Series has the 14" New Beat Hi-Hats. That to me makes this cymbal pack the one of the best. Right now you get another 14" crash (and cymbal bag) included so it's really a pretty good deal.

If you go individual, think about going to the 15" New Beat Hi-Hat, they have an exceptional sound.

We can't give you good advice like this, you gotta provide more info. What do you like in a cymbal, what music do you play?
